An exciting young Australian writer, Samantha Brett has lived and worked as a journalist in both New York and Sydney. She has written for many prominent magazines and newspapers including New Woman, Vogue, 9to5 Magazine, The Sydney Morning Herald, and The Sun Herald.

In 2004, she went to work at the Fox News Channel in New York where she lived and worked before returning to Australia to write her first book, Luv n Txt: The secrets of Text Appeal (Pluto Press Australia) revealing everything you’ve wanted to know about textual etiquette.

Claiming the title as the connoisseur of dating & textpert Samantha has made appearances on television and radio across the country, including Channel 9’s TODAY show, A Current Affair, Nova 96.9, Today FM, The Edge 96.1, Fox FM, B105 FM, 2UE, 2GB, VEGA FM, Radio 2 & ABC Radio. She has also had write ups in the Sunday Telegraph, Courier Mail, Dolly, Harpers Bazaar, Cosmo, Girlfriend, OK, FHM, Marie Claire, 9to5, Herald Sun, Sydney Weekly Courier, MX, The Sydney Morning Herald and the Sun Herald.

Sam is also the author of Modern Love -- How the Blog Generation Do It (Harlequin) and currently writes regular columns for FHM, Cosmopolitan Magazine, the Deccan Chronicle, and is regularly featured on radio and television across the country.

In 2008 she lived and worked in Los Angeles where she was featured on the E! Channel’s “SEXIEST” (premiering in Australia Oct 5th) and appeared on radio across the U.S. giving some good old-fashioned Aussie dating advice to the United States.

Samantha has recently been the face of the IMPULSE TRUE LOVE campaign which aims to Save Romance!
