A national survey conducted by fragrant haircare range Herbal Essences has revealed that over 70% of Australian women think men prefer the scent of their hair over their perfume!
Other key findings from the survey include:
* 78% said that certain scents remind them of past lovers or their first kiss
* Close to all respondents (97.8%) felt the scent of their hair was important, if not the most important thing
*Over 1 in 2 wear fragrance to represent their personality and close to half (42%) wear fragrance to reflect their mood
* 1 in 3 feel half naked when they forget to wear perfume
* In order of preference hair is by far the most important element of Australian women’s beauty routines followed by make-up, perfume and fake tan
* It also seems Aussie women have specific fragrances for work and play
