Cocktail Monday: the perfect girly gift

IMG_5272

In my books, it’s never too early in the week for a cocktail. Or at least to think of one. I’ve just returned from the virtual shops (aka online shopping) where I bought the perfect gift for my girlfriend’s birthday: the cocktail deck.

It’s a take on a deck of cards, except all the cards are a different sort of cocktail, with really cute pictures on the back of the card, and recipes for how to make the drink on the front.

There’s every cocktail imaginable, from your standard pina colada and cosmos, to the more fun and extreme kentucky apple, geisha fuzz and chocolate martini. Yummy…

Want to feel extra confident for a night out? Just whip up a flirtini  – a mix of fresh pineapple, Cointreau, vodka, pineapple juice, champagne and cherry – or get ready to perfect the valentine for when February rolls around – a splash of flower-infused vodka, black rasberry liqueur and pomegranate molasses to garnish.

This cute little gift is perfect for girls who know a thing or two about their drinks. Whether you’re a champagne lover, a whisky scowler or a straight up vodka type of girl, the Cocktail Deck is sure to satisfy your tastes. The deck will surely lift your spirits and make going out and making drinks all the more fun!

Only bad thing, I had to order it online from a site in Melbourne so it did take a few days to arrive in Syd … but it’s worth it for an original gift. You can Google The Cocktail Deck by Jane Rocca and have your copy sent to you now!

What’s your favourite girly bday gift to buy or receive??
